Thank you for your interest in TFnS Web Design. We are a web design boutique that specializes in creating custom web sites with aesthetics and usability as a high priority. TFnS has worked with many different clients primarily in the mass media field.
Usability and Accessibility
There are many different considerations that need to be made when creating a web site. At TFnS, we put our primary focus on making web sites that are usable and accessible. From our point of view, it doesn't matter how pretty a site is if you can't use it.
We strive to make our work as standards-compliant as possible. By doing so, we make your site more accessible to your audience, no matter how they're reaching your site.
Proven frameworks
We like to use open-source solutions to create our products, and it's not because we're lazy. By using proven frameworks and architectures, it frees us up to focus on the details of your specific project. Right now, we're handy with Drupal, Wordpress, jQuery and Smarty, but we're willing to learn new systems if you require something different.
Something Flashy
One of our specialties at TFnS is incorporating Flash into web sites in a way that is flexible for the site owners and accessible for the site users. We strive to make as much content as possible available for site users who don't use Flash in their browser.
That being said, we're no slouches with coding up some pretty neat Flash applications. TFnS's owner has more than 10 years of programming experience, with 4 years of Actionscript under his belt.
Talented partners
Sometimes we run into a project that's out of our reach. In those cases, TFnS has partnered with many different agencies to handle projects outside of our scope. Our list of partners is available on every page of this site.
Service options
While our pricing is competitive, we are not the firm for you if you want something cheap and bare-boned. We create products that are valuable to our clients, and as such, expect to proper compensation for them. Our prices are dictated by our initial assessment of the project, the timeline given, and our current workload. Special consideration in pricing is given towards non-profits and new businesses.
TFnS offers flexible terms of service for payment for our clients.
- Single Project - TFnS will work with your company on a single project with a fixed timeline.
- Retainer - TFnS will work with you for a set number of hours per month on projects within our expertise level, with an agreed upon price for overtime hours. We will refund hours not worked at the end of each quarter.
- Consultation - TFnS offers a consultation service in which we will step in and fill in on any step in a project. Want us to design your site, but leave implementation to someone else? Not a problem.
